Valentines Day!

Valentines Day was so much fun this year! We started our luv celebration with a playgroup party earlier in the week. We had festive treats. The kids got to hang out, play and be fancy with arts and crafts and the moms got to chat about this and that. We wrapped up the party with a valentine exchange. Fun! Fun!

Hmmmm someone can't quite handle all the treats! Amazing the effects of sugar.....even on our pets!

Someone looks like he got a visit from Cupid!

Our itty bitty sweethearts

Buzz and Kaili (and mom) were very excited to pick and send Valentines cards to family and friends this year. Although we would have loved to make them, cards with our favorite Disney/pixar and Mickey mouse clubhouse characters were readily available and added excitement to the event. It was also VERY exciting to recieve Valentines in the mail! On the 14th we made Daddy breakfast in bed and spent the morning relaxing together. We met with some friends for a Valentines lunch at an Indian restaurant and enjoyed some of our menu favs. Kaili had her first boy chasing encounter. Our little buddy Kishan decided that sharing food with Kaili was more than enough reason to luv on her......he tried to hug her and hold her hand......and well......Kaili responded with a sour face and poor Kishan got punched! We tried to explain to her that now would be the time to give love back......but from age 10-30 punching will be a required response. It's o.k Kishan.....Kaili saves her rough and tumble only for the best of the best! We had a great time at lunch. We decided to extend the fun and took the kids to Little big town to run off some energy. They played non-stop for three hours, which was necessary for our evening Valentine finale.......opening Valentine cards, gifts and candy from friends and family.......and Valentine cookie baking and decorating which always brings out the funnies in Buzz and Kai! Don't you just LUV ....LUV!!!!

Kaili's famous soup! She is always making it! No need to let boredom get the best of you! A little creativity is all that is needed to take any ingredients and transform it in to soup.....all textures......all flavors! Anything can be whipped up (or Kaili's specialty squished up) in to soup! mmm mmm!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYBODY!
